According to news from the website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on May 29, the State Council appointed and dismissed state staff and appointed Luo Zhaohui as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Luo Zhaohui, male, born in February 1962, Xiaogan, Hubei. He graduated from the history department of our school in 1982 and is an adjunct professor in our school.

Luo Zhaohui has long been concerned about the development of his alma mater. During his tenure as Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, he made a special trip back to his alma mater to visit and discuss with school leaders, teachers and students. During the 100th school celebration, the school organized part of the alumni symposium in Beijing. Luo Zhaohui, then the director of the Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting and expressed his good wishes to the alma mater. In November 2015, our school went to Canada to recruit overseas talents. Luo Zhaohui met with the delegation at the official residence in Canada.
