Travel is the beginning of knowledge, and outing is the continuation of thinking. There is learning and thinking in the tour. Is this class very interesting?

     On December 7th, Hengda Primary School held a school outing, which truly made students learn and think in the outing. This outing was aimed at further implementing the fundamental tasks of setting high moral values and cultivating people, promoting the full implementation of quality-oriented education, cultivating students' positive and enterprising spirit and comprehensive practical ability, and aspiring to be new-era good youth with ideals and pursuits.

     Entering the campus, the bricks and tiles were telling a long and ancient history and culture story. Students were walking in the wheel of history, relying on the cultural embrace. This outing has broadened students’ cultural vision and improved the ability of cooperation.

     The first stop of the outing: Museum of Central China Normal University. The Museum has collected more than 2,000 pieces of cultural relics from different dynasties. The collection covers 9 categories including bronzes, jade articles, paintings and coins. Among them, the long scroll of the book from Dunhuang Stone chamber is a national first-class cultural relic, which has great historical research value and has aroused great interest of the students.

     The second stop: the History Museum of Central China Normal University. Under the guidance of the staff, students visited the School History Museum, which condensed and recorded the vicissitudes of Central China Normal University in the past 110 years, showing the trajectory of running a school.

    The third stop: Central China Normal University Library. Then the students walked into the library and were immediately infected by the strong learning atmosphere. Everyone took a light footstep and searched for books that they are interested in.

     The fourth stop: Qingyi Hanfu Association. In order to let students understand Chinese traditional culture at a close distance, we joined hands with the Students' Association and walked into the Hanfu Association’s cultural lecture hall to jointly experience the ancient Chinese culture behind Hanfu. The students sat quietly and listened to the explanations. In the subsequent Hanfu experience, the students studied the traditional Chinese culture of Hanli seriously and conscientiously, and all of them lamented the Chinese traditional culture!

     In the one-day outing, the students were learning and thinking in the tour, measuring the history with their feet, exploring the culture with their eyes, listening to the story with ears, and using the soul to feel the inheritance and innovation of education. (translated by Chen Yulan)
