Forum held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mr. Gao Yuan's birth

On November 22, the seminar on the theory of "scientific socialism in the 21st century" and the Symposium on Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Gao Yuan and the exhibition of commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Gao Yuan, sponsored by the school of politics and international relations, were held at Yifu International Conference Center.

The special commemorative film "towering mountains and gloomy fields" was broadcast to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the plateau. Gao Shenghong, Bao Weiming and Gao Xiang, as well as experts and scholars from many universities and research institutions, such as the Chinese Society for scientific socialism, the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, Renmin University of China, Shandong University, and the Institute of Marxism of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, jointly recalled Mr. Gao Yuan and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on scientific socialism.

Zhao Lingyun, Secretary of the University Party committee, delivered a speech. "Today, I am speaking in the capacity of Mr. Gao Yuan, a non naturalized student." Zhao Lingyun said affectionately that after recalling the important role of "scientific socialism" in his academic experience, he introduced the development process of political discipline in Central China Normal University and expressed his admiration for Mr. plateau.

Peng Nansheng, vice president, conveyed Mr. Zhang Kaiyuan's commemorative article on Mr. Gao Fengliang, a good teacher and comrade in arms: recalling the plateau. This paper describes his experience of working with Mr. Gao Yuan, and highly evaluates his academic attainments and high moral integrity.

Many of Mr. Highland's disciples came to the scene to recall his teaching experience. During his teaching, Mr. plateau always put education and cultivation of students in the first place, put the word "seriously" through the whole process, carefully prepared every class for students, carefully corrected every article of students, and carefully guided students to read. Mr. Highland's academic rigor has infected the students around him and cultivated a large number of high-level talents for the discipline of scientific socialism and Political Science in China.

This person has passed away, and his demeanor remains forever. In memory of Mr. Gao Yuan, the College of political and international relations has set up platforms such as "plateau scholarship scholarship", "plateau forum" and "plateau academy", aiming to inherit and transmit the cultural spirit created by the "founder" and let the discipline of scientific socialism and political science of central China Normal University pass on from generation to generation and create a brilliant future.

Plateau (1920-1986), born in Yixian, Liaoning Province, is a famous Marxist theorist and educator in China, one of the founders of scientific socialism after reform and opening up, and the founder of scientific socialism and political discipline in Central China Normal University. He once worked in Renmin University of China, then went south to participate in the relocation of Zhongyuan University and the establishment of central China Normal University. In the mid-1980s, he served as the Secretary of the Party committee of central China Normal University. He served as a member of the law group of the first academic degree evaluation committee of the State Council, President and honorary president of the Hubei Provincial Political Association, and President of the Hubei society of scientific socialism He has written or edited four textbooks and more than 70 papers with more than 2 million words. He is one of the important founders of scientific socialism in China after the reform and opening up.
