The eighth meeting of the second session of the Education Development Foundation Council

On the afternoon of December 4, the eighth session of the Second Council of the education development foundation of central China Normal University was successfully held in the third conference room of the administration building. Zhao Lingyun, Secretary of the Party committee of the University, Li Hongfei, vice president and all directors and supervisors attended the meeting, which was presided over by Vice President Li Hongfei.

At the meeting, the board of directors and supervisors of the foundation were fully approved, and the allocation of donation funds by Chen Bangyong, the school director, was deliberated.

Wang Zhibin, Secretary General of the foundation, reported on the project of "Central China Normal University Fund for prevention and control of major epidemic diseases" from eight aspects, and made a report on the work of the foundation in 2020. He said that in the past year, under the leadership of the school Party committee and administration, with the strong support and help of all parties, the foundation has made overall plans around the school's development strategy; has the courage to take responsibility and raise funds and materials from multiple channels to support the fight against the epidemic; has concentrated on fund-raising and matching work, and has implemented rewards and incentives; its internal governance has been gradually improved, and its project operation has been solid and orderly; and it has followed the three principles In the future, we will continue to focus on the school's double first-class construction and the 120th anniversary of 2023. We will do a good job in various work, expandfinancing channels, accelerate the construction of the foundation information platform, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the foundation cause.

Finally, Zhao Lingyun, chairman of the foundation, made a summary speech on the meeting. He first expressed his gratitude to all the directors and supervisors for their concern and support for the foundation's work for a long time, highly praised the achievements of the foundation, and fully affirmed the key role played by the foundation against the background of the epidemic.

Zhao Lingyun made several requirements for the foundation's next work: first, to further increase the fund-raising capacity of the foundation; second, to further standardize the management and continue to maintain the standard and transparency; third, to do a good job in top-level design and overall fund management; fourth, to achieve innovation; fifth, to continue to raise the ratio of donations to central universities. He also called on all directors to give full play to their own advantages, give more advice to the foundation work, help the school's 120th anniversary celebration and "double first-class" construction, and make due contributions to the development and progress of China's education and public welfare charities.
