On October 11th, the foundingcongressof the Fujian Alumni Association and Fuzhou Alumni Association was held. School Party Secretary Zhao Lingyun and Vice President Li Hongfei attended. Representatives from Dongguan, Hainan, Henan, Zhejiang and other local alumni associations, representatives of University Alumni Association outside Fujian Province, Wuhan University Fujian Alumni Association, more than 100 alumni working in various industries in Fujian, and heads of relevant functional departments and colleges of the school attended .

At the foundingcongress, Zhao Quanfeng, a class-of-1992 alumnus of the Academy of Educational Sciences, gave a report on the preparations. The Secretary General of the Alumni Association read out the "Approval of the Establishment of the Fujian and Fuzhou Alumni Associations of Central China Normal University". Alumni Chen Yian, Liu Yang, and Ling Hong were elected as the honorary presidents; Jiang Xiaojin, a class-of-1994 alumnus of the Department of Chemistry, was elected as the president; and Yaxiong, a Physics class-of-1995 alumni, was elected as the president of the Fuzhou Alumni Association.

Honorary President Chen Yian donated 100,000 yuan to the "Folk Literature Professional Education Fund".In her speech, Chen Yian briefly reviewed her experience of working and studying atCentral China Normal University, thanking her alma mater for her meticulous care and trust, and she described her hard work in Fujian to promotelearning of whole peopleand lifelong education, and to promote cross-strait exchanges and develop cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan. She said that in the future, she will continue to serve the local economic and social development. She also said that she won't forget her alma mater's entrustment, and contribute to the prosperity of her alma mater and make new contributions.

On behalf of the university and the Alumni Association, Zhao Lingyun expressed his congratulations on the establishment of the Fujian Alumni Association and Fuzhou Alumni Association, and expressed his sincere admiration for the outstanding contributions made by the alumni of theCentral China Normal Universityto the local economic and social development in Fujian. In the report "Building a New University Career, Creating a New Stage of Development forCentral China Normal University", he introduced the latest development of the university to the alumni, as well as the three major events that the university is planning the 12th Party Congress; preparing the university's "14th Five-Year" development plan; starting preparations for the university's "Shuangjiazi" school celebration.

Before the foundingcongress, Zhang Guangmin, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Standing Committee of fujian Provincial People's Congress and deputy director had a discussion with Zhao Lingyun. Zhang Guangmin fully affirmed the outstanding contributions made by the alumni of the Central China Normal University to the local economic and social development in Fujian and Fuzhou, and he expressed his gratitude to the Central China Normal University for their training and support.
